I practice yoga regularly. It keeps me balanced from my hectic life. It is my escape from insanity. And what better way to do it than with this amazing yoga pants from Victoria Secret Pink. It is reasonably priced and very comfy when I'm doing all my poses. An added bonus is it REALLY makes my butt look good. Eat your heart out, Kim K!

beauty is skin deep

I finally bought the Clarisonic and I can't believe I waited this long. It is amazing and it truly works wonders to my skin. It sloughs dead skin cells so the skin exfoliates. The products you apply after actually penetrates the pores because they are not clogged anymore. I have less blemishes now and my skin never looked this good. Truly is a very good investment. The price will make you gag a little but you end up saving money by not going to the term anymore.

style spotlight: jessica alba

She may be a momma but she is definitely a hot one. It is so hard to find pictures of Jessica Alba these days without her adorable tot in tow. She is a very hand-on mom so everywhere she goes, her daughter Honor Marie is with her. What I like about her is she always look so put together even if she just goes grocery shopping or running errands and she does not try hard to do it. It just comes so naturally to her.

concealaholic

If there is one beauty product I cannot live without, it is definitely the concealer. It is just a must have for me and I really think it should be included in The Wonders of the World. You can cheat beautiful with it. I especially like to put it under my eyes because it instantly awakens and brightens up your face. I just started using Laura Mercier and I am loving it. I used to use Benefit Boing but lately I noticed it forms creases when I put it on so I scouted for a new one and this one from Laura Mercier does it for me. The consistency is so creamy that it goes on seamlessly.

color crush

I am totally in lust over this hot trend: colored jeans and jeggings! I can't get over it. It looks so good with everything. It is so versatile since you can be casual or glam with your look. I snagged a pair of red one from American Eagle and I can't wait to wear it.

inspire me

I could not stop thinking about summer, the beach, sunblock, tan lines ahhhh.. i could go on and on. It's just that I am most happy and most myself when I am in the water, saltwater that is. I am a free spirit and I love to roam around nature. Big city life is so not me. I do not hate it but I do not miss it either. Nothing comes close to having the wind blowing in my face, sand in my toes and just breathing fresh air. Someday...

in full bloom

Gorgeous florals...that's how I envisioned spring and what better way to bring it to life than incorporating it in my wardrobe. Pastels and candy colors make it more beautiful. Big prints or small prints, don't be afraid to put it all out there. After all, you are young and you are free.

style spotlight: emma roberts

This girl has a classic style. You won't find her wearing too trendy clothes. She always prefer clean and basic designs that can be worn forever. She won't be caught dead in a midriff baring top or dangerously super low jeans. That makes her a designer favorite.

wedge lovin'

Wedges will always be my go-to style when I want to look chic. It always add that extra oomph
to your look. Plus the added height helps a few good inches but not all wedges are created equal. Their are styles out there that makes you look skanky and we don't want that. Avoid the super chunky ones. Super platforms are a no-no. Choose styles that have subtle platforms on the front and about 3-5 inches thick at the back. Anything beyond that screams desperate.

age ain't nothin' but a number

So you are getting older. So what? That's no big deal. It really is just a number. What matters is how you've lived your life. I used to spend so much time regretting the things I've done and haven't done in the past and obsessing about what the future brings that I missed out a lot living in the present. The most important thing is living in the moment. We can never go back to the past and we can never predict what tomorrow has for us but NOW is the time that we can control. Spend time with your loved ones if you can. Make good memories you will cherish forever. Never stop dreaming. Learn new things everyday. Laugh. Cry. Love like crazy. Believe in the power of prayer. It's never too late to do all these things. Age is just a number.

mad about plaid

I am crazy about plaid. It just screams "preppy and chic"! What's great about it is everyone almost always look good in plaid. No matter what your size or shape, it just flatters. For me, its so much better than stripes and it comes in awesome color combinations too.
