the city

I just had the perfect weekend in NYC. The weather was an awesome 55 degrees. Everyone was wearing really light clothes(for January in East Coast at least). I had fun time walking around in Manhattan and just soaking it all up. No shopping this time though. I totally disciplined myself in that aspect for now. Oh and by the way, this is my first outfit post :)

mint is in!

Spring is just around the corner so I am so excited to know that mint green will be big for the coming season. Runways are showing mint everywhere and I am loving it. For one, it is a very lovely color. Very soothing and airy and definitely reminds me of the ocean. I cannot wait to scout for something that will make me a happy gal.

its a brad,brad world

I am currently obsessed with a new reality show from Bravo Tv. It's called It's a Brad,Brad World. It chronicles the ups and downs of an up and coming celebrity stylist. He is struggling to make a name for himself after being known as Rachel Zoe's styling director. I can totally relate to him because I have big dreams and I am determined to make them a reality but it can be so frustrating at times.

bye bye blemishes

Growing up, I was always plagued with pimples and I would feel so frustrated. I have tried almost anything and I mean anything but my skin was never clear. Then when I got older, my skin improved although I would still break out especially when I'm hormonal. Lately though, I never saw a single zit on my face and I am definitely in heaven. I have to credit Shu Uemura cleansing oil for that.Ever since I started using it, my complexion was way clearer and it's never dry or oily. The only downside is it costs a fortune.But I don't mind because it really works for me.

Ankle boots are big right now. It's edgy and sexy. Pair it with jeans, dress and skirt.

rock a maxi

You know what they say that a maxi dress and a petite girl don't mix because it could overwhelm a small frame. It could if you don't choose the right style but if you find the one that is perfect for your size and shape, petites actually good look in ankle length dresses. It has to be fitted on top and flowing on the bottom. That way, the dress is not swallowing you.
